Did you know that if you own or rent your home you could be entitled to a Warm Front grant of up to £3,500 (or £6,000 where oil, low carbon or renewable technologies are recommended) for insulation and heating improvements?
What is Warm Front scheme?
The Warm Front scheme is a Government-funded initiative, which is managed by Eaga, and designed to make homes warmer, healthier and more energy efficient.
Grants of up to £3,500 are available for insulation and heating improvements (or £6,000 where oil, low carbon or renewable tech
nologies are recommended) and open to qualifying homeowners and tenants who live in England*
Could I be eligible for a Warm Front grant?
If you meet the following criteria you could be eligible for a Warm Front grant.
Are you a householder aged 60 or over and in receipt of one or more of the following benefits?
- Income Support
- Council Tax Benefit
- Housing Benefit
- Job Seekers Allowance (income-based)
- Pension Credit
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
Are you a householder with a child under the age of 16 or a pregnant woman in receipt of maternity certificate MAT-B1 and in receipt of one or more of the following benefits?
- Income Support
- Council Tax Benefit
- Housing Benefit
- Job Seekers Allowance (income-based)
- Pension Credit
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
Are you a householder in receipt of one or more of the following benefits?
- Working Tax Credit (with an income of less than £16,040, which must include a disability element)
- Disability Living Allowance
- Child Tax Credit (with an income of less than £16,040)
- Housing Benefit (which must include a disability premium)
- Income Support (which must include a disability premium)
- Council Tax Benefit (which must include a disability premium)
- War Disablement Pension (which must include a mobility supplement or Constant Attendance Allowance)
- Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit (which must include Constant Attendance Allowance)
- Attendance Allowance

Please note that the term ‘householder’ includes the applicant’s spouse, or partner, if they are living with receiving Disability Living Allowance award for a child or non-dependant in your household will not qualify for the Warm Front grant.
*The Warm Front scheme is only available in England but other schemes operate in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
