How can you qualify for a free insulation grant?

- If you are in receipt of a qualifying benefit or you are over 70 years of age and have 2 inches (60mm) or less of loft insulation we can insulate your loft for free.

 

- If you have more than 2 inches of insulation and require a top up there may be a small contribution. Insulation grants are limited to UK mainland homeowners

 

- If you don't fit into either of these categories, you can receive an insulation grant to fund up to 60% of insulating costs only.

 

What is the Free Insulation Grant?

If you own your home, or rent it from a private landlord, you may be able to claim a heating and insulation grant of up to £2,700 under the Warm Front Scheme.

A package of energy efficient and heating measures up to the value of £2,700 (except where oil central heating is installed or repaired and where a maximum grant of £4,000 is available).

Able To Pay (ATP) schemes offer households who are not eligible to receive the Government Warm Front Grant, the opportunity to get subsidies for cavity wall insulation and loft insulation, from Local Authorities and Energy Suppliers.
